So just when I thought working at OWN Magazine was great, it only got better! We have so many creative outlets that we are in the works of relaunching, like this dope You Tube channel called OWN.Ch The first volume showcases some amazing Japanese talent and features some sick street scenes of local, cool fashion people just being, well cool! The channel is in the process of being revamped by us, so stay tuned for more, and enjoy!

These are images from the current issue of OWN Magazine, the No. 9 issue. These editorials are my favorite with  models Ty from NY Models & Dan Felton from Red, being shot in Brooklyn in designs by Kazuyuki Kumagai. By now you probably know that I work at OWN now as an intern thanks to my post on them recently! Enjoy the images below from the No. 9 Issue.

In A League Of It’s OWN..

Posted in Art Nouveau with tags , , , , , , , , on January 28, 2010 by James Field

Internship work is not at all a glamorous job, in fact it takes tenacity, perseverance and tough skin to work for a company that you have great interest in. As of this past week, I have become an intern with OWN Magazine. A supremely cool, minimalist chic, high-end men’s fashion publication. As you may or may not know, my blog is sort of my platform to learn how to edit and run my online magazine, and now being honored with the chance to work directly with the  great people at OWN, is a true benefit to finding my path in men’s fashion. In honor of my new internship, I decided to post a few photos from the OWN No. 8 issue Via their website and a photo taken by me of earlier OWN issues sprawled out on my kitchen table, from when I rushed home in excitement.

As you can tell by the sharp images from the magazine, you can get a taste of what they are all about. Clean spreads, sharp colors, all done on a minimal and simple scale. I am so honored to become apart of the OWN family and I very excited to see where the future takes me.

Stay tuned..

James
