The Black Nouveau

Re affirming my belief that he is one of the most talented menswear designers in recent years, Phillip Lim has just released his Fall 2011 menswear collection for the first time in Paris. One of the reasons I adore his work so much, is because of his ability to blend seamless tailoring with modern silhouettes and shapes for. This collection was no failure in that department, the elastic ankle pants, slim fit suits and some the best layering techniques I have ever seen. The accessories and shoes were incredible as well, proving his talents do not just end at the clothing construction, but also the add ons. Congrats Phillip, and BRAVO!

In my option one of the best collections yet from Paris.  (Now just waiting on my Tim Hamilton to show and I will be complete!)
