Duckie Brown Fall 2010 Men’s Collection: Tailored Soldiers

The only menswear show that I ever get excited to see at New York Fashion Week is Duckie Brown. This season compared to last was by far my favorite. The overall aesthetic was “Military”, with exaggerated cropped pants paired with amazing calf high lace up boots and white tube socks, and plaid plaid everywhere! The tailoring was phenomenal also, trenches and overcoats were injected with vivid colors, gave a refreshing boost to these cold winter months. I cannot wait until those boots come out next Fall, and I will surly place my order when they do! Here are some of my favorite looks from the show courtesy of GQ.

(Capsule) Men’s Fall 2010 Trade Show, New York

The brands are coming! The brands are coming!….The (Capsule) Men’s Fall 2010 Trade Show was held on January 18th-19th. This year the show was held at the normal location of the Angel Orensanz Foundation building in the Lower East Side, but since the Spring 2009 Show they added some new brands and expanded to the Puck Building in SoHo. I was stationed at the Angel Orensanz, and was able to view some amazing things from Clae, Mark McNairy and so many more. The show had a huge turn out and was so very exciting, and as always when I volunteer my time to work these shows, I of course take the time to snap some shots for you guys!…enjoy!

The Sewn From The Soul shoot was without a doubt a memorable experience for myself and all the great people involved. It captured the essence of our individual styles and meshed them together to create a beautiful story. Here are some of my candid, behind the scenes photos that I took during the shoot….enjoy.

On February 14th, the extremely talented street artist Mr Brainwash, debuted his highly anticipated  showcase “Icons” in a 15,ooo sq ft installation space in the Meat Packing District. The show featured pop art, paint splattered images of famous celebrities, athletes and pretty much everyone else important all done in a cool, quirky way. Myself and a few of my friends managed to go to the special celebrity viewing, and here are some of my favorite images from the exhibit courtesy of the Village Voice.

The entire night was so great! We were able to view some amazing art, sipped Champagne and danced it up with a few celebs. Overall it was a crazy, random, amazing time, here are some of our candid shots courtesy of my good friend Leia Jospe.
