Anna Wintour

Today’s Daily Honor goes to Anna Wintour. What hasn’t been said about probably one of the most powerful women in fashion?, the editor-in-chief of American Vogue Magazine. Her influence has launched hundreds of obscure designers in the fashion stratosphere, and has been dubbed New York’s unofficial “Mayoress” She has so much influence, that she actually came up with the idea to cease Mercedes Benz Fashion Week from taking place at Bryant Park and move it to Lincoln Center in Spring of 2011. Synonymous for her “bob” haircut and wearing dark sunglasses indoors while observing fashion shows, and her countless Chanel skirt suits, Anna is the force behind many of today’s trends and fashion. Her work at Vogue is legendary but circulating rumors of her retirement have begun to spread, even if she chooses to do so, her work will never be matched and her legacy will continue to propel Vogue at the forefront of fashion and a leader in style.
